Vision of the Future

︎Project management and graphic design

April 2023 ︎︎︎ Graphic designer and curators Lisa Panitz from Dortmund, Germany, Mahynour Sawa and Noura Badawy from Cairo, Egypt, launched an international open call for all creatives up to 25 years old to create an artwork that represents our future in 25 years.

Imaginative and Innovative artworks that tackle the pressing issue of our time and offer a glimpse into the future were the specification of the topic.

In Cooperation with Drucken3000 from Berlin, we offered to print the artworks on the DINA2, A3 and A4 Riso-Printer. Riso-printing is known for its unique texture and vibrant colors, making each print one-of-a-kind.

We also want to thank Posterrex, Lars Harmsen and Markus Lange and Metapaper for supporting this project.

Almost 70 Artworks were submitted, and we had the challenging task of choosing the final artwork, as every submission had its own important message and insightful interpretations of our theme, "How will the future look like in 25 years?"

We are now thrilled to announce the 30 talented artists who were selected from our Open Call and will be now shown in our upcoming exhibition in the Gallery of Fachhochschule Dortmund, Max-Ophüls-Platz 2 in 44137 Dortmund from 31st May –13th June 2023.
